Dr. Alexander Black Dentist in Brooklyn

Dr. Alexander Black is a highly skilled general dentist serving the community at Scarsdale Dental Group in Scarsdale, NY. A proud Westchester native, Dr. Black attended Scarsdale Schools before earning a Bachelor’s of Engineering in Computer Science from Binghamton University. He later pursued a Postbaccalaureate Certificate in Premedical Sciences from Columbia University, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College in Hawthorne, NY.

As a member of the inaugural class at Touro, Dr. Black was a founding member of the student government, serving as class secretary. His dedication to excellence in dentistry was recognized with the Marc A. Rosenblum Award for Excellence in Operative Dentistry. He further honed his skills by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at NYU Langone Brooklyn Hospital.

Returning to his hometown, Dr. Black joined Scarsdale Dental Group in July 2022, bringing his expertise in operative and general dentistry to the practice. Outside the office, he enjoys exploring the Scarsdale waterfront and spending time with his family’s beloved pets.
